Captain picks prediction is now proving to be as difficult as never before. New curve balls come our way every week, here is how our last week’s picks did;

Sergio Aguero – 0 points.

Roberto Firmino – 16 points.

Alexis Sanchez – 4 points.

Harry Kane – 0 points.

Straight on to this week’s predictions. I am definitely hoping for a better success rate this week, let’s delve straight to it.

                              HARRY KANE.

Harry Kane, unfortunately injured missed Spurs visit to Old Trafford last weekend. However, he returned on time to face European champions and was instrumental in the 3-1 humbling of Real Madrid despite not getting on the score sheet himself.

He was rested in the 75th minute and he will be raring to go against the underwhelming Palace. Palace have conceded 21 goals in 10 games, the league’s top scorer will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing them.

If Kane is cleared fit to play this weekend and you have him in your team, you have to captain him. Considering the fact that almost all fpl big hitters will be squaring off against each other, Kane will be the most captained player this week.

                              MOHAMMED SALAH.

The Pharaoh has been nothing short of inspirational for the Kop. Salah been nominated for The African player of the year ,thanks to his form and is looking like an early front runner for the prize.

Liverpool’s injuries to Coutinho and Mane have left Salah as the attacking figurehead of the Anfield outfit. He has lived to the expectation very well with 9 goals and 3 assists in all competitions for Liverpool.

Averaging 3.9 shots per game, the Egyptian earns the right to be considered this week among the best captaincy options.

                              JAMIE VARDY.

Vardy has so far this season been Leicester’s main if not only attacking outlet. Vardy has been a bonus point magnet, with 9 bonus points in 10 games, thanks to his overall contribution for the foxes.

Following the sacking of Craig Shakespeare and the subsequent hiring of Claude Puel, Leicester City have reverted to their counter attacking playing style that saw them surprisingly win the premier league 2 seasons ago.

With Mahrez now being played in the no.10 position and the creative Demarai Gary seemingly being trusted with the right wing position, Vardy is going to be the main beneficiary of Leicester’s pacey and tricky forward.

Most obvious captain picks will be facing each other this week, leaving us with a potentially tricky decision to make on who to captain from the tough super Sunday fixtures. Vardy will be rolling into the bet365 stadium in what is sure to be a friendly fixture, considering that not many managers will captain the English man, he could be a super differential for you.

                              SERGIO AGUERO.

Sergio Aguero was rested in the league last week frustrating over 1.2 million managers. As a result of the rest, he was fit and firing for City in the Champions league scoring a goal that saw him become Manchester City’s all time goal scorer.

Last week’s most transferred in player has been sold by 75,646 managers so far ahead of the deadline on Saturday. With Aguero’s 7 goals and 3 assists in 6 starts, the decision to sell the Argentine is already looking like a terrible decision.

Many might argue that City will be facing a top side in Arsenal, thus the reason why they do not trust him as captain this weekend. Aguero has proven time and again that he is a fixture proof player, having scored and assisted against Liverpool, the only big side he has played this season as well as boasting an imperious record of 32 goals score in 48 games against the top six sides.

If you have the Argentine in your side, you should captain him. With the international break coming up after this game week, I think pep will not rest his inform striker.
