HOW GOOD IS GAME WEEK 11 DREAM TEAM?

HOW GOOD IS GAME WEEK 11 DREAM TEAM?

GOAL KEEPER.

Asmir Begovic – Bournemouth.

Another week, another budget goalkeeper makes it to the week’s dream team. The former Chelsea stopper ensured the Cherries secured a 1-0 win over the magpies at St James Park after pulling out a number of saves. Asmir became the week’s top ‘keeper thanks to a clean sheet (4 points), managed 4 saves (1 point), played 90 minutes (2 points) and scooped 2 bonus points as a reward for his heroics.

Recommendation.

Begovic is a friendly priced goalkeeper, £4.5 and his fixtures are appetizing. If you are looking for a rotation ‘keeper, then Begovic is your man. GOOD BUY.

DEFENDERS.

Steve Cook – Bournemouth.

Another debut for a member of the Bournemouth back line in the fpl dream team for a game week. He is the top player of the week after a magnificent display at St James Park against the Magpies. The English central defender pulled a MOTM performance against Benitez’s Boys. He is the man responsible for the visitors win at St James Park. A goal from him (5 points), assisting his team to keep a clean sheet (4 points) saw him rewarded with all the 3 bonus points making him the top player of the week.

HE SCORED 15 POINTS (PLAYER OF THE WEEK).

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (2 2 2 2 2).

Recommendation.

Cook’s friendly price of 4.8 is the big attraction and consideration if you need a fairly priced rotation defender. Cook hasn’t been known to be a supreme attacking defender like his team mate Daniels. Perhaps it is better you ignore any urge to buy Cook since there are cheaper defenders with better Clean sheet potential, like Burnley defenders.  Cook kept just his first clean sheet in this season in game week 11. FAIRLY RISKY.

SCOTT MALONE – Huddersfield.

A debut for the premier league new boy after a magnificent performance against Tony Pulis’ boys. The English man had a double digit score after providing an assist (3 points), keeping a clean sheet (4 points), played 90 minutes (2 points) and earning all the 3 bonus points.

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (2 5 4 3 2).

Recommendation.

Scott is not a guaranteed starter, this should end any discussion on whether to get him or not.  DON’T BUY.

LEIGHTON BAINES – EVERTON.

What a game week for the defender and the entire Merseyside team. It was the first win for Everton since sacking their manager and what a roller-coaster game it was against Marcos Silva’s boys at Goodison Park.

The England defender contributed directly to 2 of the 3 goals scored by Everton, providing an assist (3 points), scoring a penalty (6 points), played 90 minutes (2 points) and earned 2 bonus points.

SCORED 12 POINTS.

OWNED BY 5.1% of total managers.

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (2 2 2 2 4).

Recommendation.

Baines’s minutes on the pitch are guaranteed as long as he is fit. The problem with buying Baines is that Everton are terribly out of form. Everton have kept only 1 clean sheet this season, against Stoke in game week 1. Baines only goal this season, which came in the last game week, was a penalty. Rooney is Everton’s designated penalty taker but Baines took it since Rooney had been subbed off. Everton’s fixtures are friendly but their clean sheet potential is very low, put Baines on your watch list for now. WAIT.

CESAR AZPILICUETA – CHELSEA.

The Spaniard was in great form as he was restored to his favored right center back spot. He was part of a clean sheet keeping defense (4 points), created an assist (3 points), played 90 minutes ( 2 points) and earned all the 3 bonus points for an impressive 12 points total.

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (2 4 2 2 2).

Recommendation.

Cesar Azpilicueta is enhancing his fpl credentials. Chelsea are a good clean sheet keeping team and Azpilicueta is developing a good understanding with Morata. His assist for Morata against united is a recurring theme for him this season, having created an incredible 5 assists so far as well as scored 1 goal. Buy Azpilicueta. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

JOEL MATIP LIVERPOOL

The reds won 4-1 at the London stadium and Matip finds himself in the dream team despite his team conceding a goal. The defender was on the score sheet (6 points), played 90 minutes (2 points) and managed to earn 2 bonus points.

SCORED 10 POINTS.

OWNED BY 2 6% of total managers.

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (2 4 2 2 2) consider buying him.

Recommendation.

Matip has played all the league matches for Liverpool. Liverpool have never been known to have a clean sheet potential and Matip finds himself on this list thanks to the goal he scored rather than his team keeping a clean sheet. If you must have a Liverpool defender, get the likes of Joe Gomez and Alberto Moreno who are priced at a lowly price of £4.5. RISKY BUY.

MIDDLEFIELDERS

MOHAMED SALAH – LIVERPOOL.

Salah scored his 11th and 12th goals across all competitions against a West Ham defense that is currently soaking in goals. The two goals (10 points), playing 90 mins (2 points) saw him scoop 3 bonus points which saw the Egyptian talisman sit on top of overall points for the week with cook and only one point behind Sane in the overall points.

SCORED 15POINTS.

OWNED BY 38.7% of the total managers.

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (24222).

Recommendation.

Looking at Salah’s form and fixtures, if you do not have him then BUY him now!!!! End of story. I recommended him in my game week 11 captain picks. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

XHERDAN SHAKIRI – STOKE.

The Switzerland midfielder made his way to the dream team after helping his team secure a point against The Foxes at the BET 365 stadium. The Stoke City midfielder contributed directly to all the goals by scoring (5 points) and providing an assist(3 points) as well as playing 90 minutes (2 points). He also scooped all the 3 bonus points on offer.

SCORED 13 POINTS.

NEXT 5 FIXTURE DIFFICULT RATING (2 2 4 2 4).

Recommendation.

Shaqiri, if he stays fit, will be the bargain midfielder of the season. Everyone needs 1 or 2 budget midfielders in their team, they don’t come better and cheaper than Shaqiri. Look for a way to have him. RECOMMENDED.

HEUNG-MIN SON – SPURS.

Spurs managed a single goal at Wembley when as they hosted the struggling Crystal palace. Heung-Min son scored the only goal to earn spurs all the three points which saw them level points with MUFC. The goal (5 points), keeping clean sheet (1), playing 90 mins (2 points) and 2 bonus points earned him a place at the dream team.

SCORED 10 POINTS.

OWNED BY 1.5 % of the total managers.

Next 5 fixture difficult rating (42322).

Recommendation.

Son’s minutes is the main point of contention when it comes to deciding whether to buy him. With the likes of Dembele, Wanyama and Lamela progressively getting fit, Son’s minutes are bound to diminish. RISKY BUY.

SADIO MANE – LIVERPOOL.

Mane came back from his injury in a very impressive fashion, providing 2 assists as he help his team beat the Irons 4-1. 76 minutes played (2 points), 2 assists (6 points) and 2 bonus points saw Mane make an appearance in the dream team.

SCORED 10 POINTS.

OWNED BY 7.4% OF THE TOTAL MANAGERS.

NEXT 5 FIXTURE DIFFICULT RATING (2 4 2 2 2).

Recommendation.

Mane and Salah are Liverpool’s main attacking threat. Looking at how attractive Mane’s fixtures are, you can double up on him and Salah. Mane holds the record for the quickest premier league hat trick, just so you know how good he is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

OUMAR NIASE – EVERTON.

A rare start for the Senegalese forward. When given chance, he has always rescued Everton. He scored his 4th goal of the season having played only 287 minutes this season, which translate to a goal every 72 minutes. He is the only striker in the dream team this week after the big boys failed to impress in the weekend.

SCORED 9 POINTS.

OWNED BY 2.2 % OF THE TOTAL MANAGERS.

NEXT 5 FIXTURES DIFFUCULT RATING (2 2 2 2 4).

Recommendation.

Oumar Niasse is quite a good goal scorer, he has 4 goals in only 2 starts this season, 287 minutes. With a new manager at Goodison Park, Niasse might just get a lifeline and be restored to the starting line up at Everton. If Niasse starts Everton’s next match, managers might just have a bargain in their hands. PUT HIM IN YOUR WATCHLIST.
