GAME WEEK 11 FPL CAPTAIN PICKS

Captain picks prediction is now proving to be as difficult as never before. New curve balls come our way every week, here is how our last week’s picks did;

Sergio Aguero – 0 points.

Roberto Firmino – 16 points.

Alexis Sanchez – 4 points.

Harry Kane – 0 points.

Straight on to this week’s predictions. I am definitely hoping for a better success rate this week, let’s delve straight to it.

                              HARRY KANE.

VALUABLE TIPS FOR THE FREE HIT THIS WEEK

Free hit is one of the three ‘chips’ that you have been awarded this season in the Fantasy Premier League.

Like the other two chips, ‘Triple Captain’ and ‘Bench Boost’, free hit can be used only once throughout the season but has the potential to  increase a manager’s points total significantly if used wisely.

HOW GOOD IS THE GAME WEEK 9 DREAM TEAM

Game week 9 was a mixed bag for managers, most captained player Lukaku failed to deliver while the most transferred in player Jesus was on the substitutes bench.

Otamendi and Harry Kane are the only members of this weeks dream team who are in the overall dream team.

GAME WEEK 9 FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE CAPTAIN PICKS

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE GAME WEEK 9 CAPTAIN PICKS.

Game week 8 was a very frustrating week for a majority, with top Captaincy candidates either missing game time entirely i.e. Aguero and Morata as well as Kane and Lukaku disappointing majorly for the managers who entrusted them with the arm band.

My last week’s picks were underwhelming and Jesus is the only player who came out with any sort of credit;

*Harry Kane – 4 points.

*Alexis Sanchez – 0 points.

*Romelu Lukaku – 4 points.

*Gabriel Jesus – 26 points.

*Jamie Vardy – 4 points.

  1. Gabriel Jesus (BUR)

Man City are bang on form at the moment raining a barrage of goals on teams that come their way. Jesus has been in blistering form too, only failing to give an attacking return in the game that he didn’t take any part in in the last 5 games against Palace. With Aguero back this week, he could improve those stats as he has posted outstanding returns playing next to Sergio. City host a Burnley side this week who aren’t the worst team at defending, but I still expect Manchester City to have too much in the locker for the Clarets. Jesus also grabbed a goal midweek against Napoli, a team who have only conceded 5 times this season!

  1. Romelu Lukaku (HUD)

Lukaku blanked in his last premier league game against Liverpool, a game he had only one clear chance on goal and his shot was aimed straight at Mignolet. You can’t blame the big Belgian for not scoring in that match though, Mourinho ‘’Parked the bus’’ for the entire match isolating the League’s top scorer up front with nothing much to feed on.

Away to Huddersfield this Saturday though, we expect normal service to resume and Lukaku to be among the goals for the Old Trafford outfit. Prior to his blank against Liverpool, Lukaku had been the most captained player in 6 consecutive games only failing to score in week 3 against Leicester, a game he missed a penalty in. Lukaku has been boasting impressive goal scoring form this season and smart money is on him to find the target against Huddersfield.

  1. Christian Eriksen – (LIV)

Spurs have in in impressive form this season as well, little wonder the best point scorer in fpl so far is a spurs player, and it is not Kane, It is Eriksen with 56 points. Eriksen has been boosted by 3 goals, 3 assists , 6 clean sheets as well as an impressive 10 bonus points, this week, Spurs play hosts to Liverpool who have only kept 2 clean sheets this season. If Spurs keep up their goal scoring form in this match, then Eriksen will surely have a role to playing any goal scored by the Lilly whites, and who knows, maybe even repeat his 11 point haul from last week!

  1. Tammy Abraham (LEI)

This is a ballsy move I must agree, but hey, such moves are sweetest when they pay off. Abraham so far is the main goal scoring threat for the swans since Gylfi’s departure to join the Everton project under Koeman. The lanky striker has taken his step up to the premier league in his stride, scoring 4 goals in his 8 games to this point, last week, he scored 2 goals on his way to 13 fpl points, good rewards for any manager ballsy enough to captain him.

Playing against a Leicester side who just sacked their manager early this week, expect the Chelsea loanee to have something to say on the proceedings of this game.

  1. Wilfried Zaha (NEW)

This is another gutsy move, a differential by all definitions. Zaha has been out for majority of this season with injury and boy did Palace miss him, he made a triumphant return scoring his side’s winning goal against the champions Chelsea.  There is nothing much in terms of statistics to back up your inclusion of Zaha, but at least we know he is playing as striker for Hodgson’s side, at least until Benteke Is back from injury. If Zaha manages to breach Newcastle defense that has kept only 2 clean sheets this season, then rewards will be massive for you as the Ivory Coast international is in only 3.2% of fantasy sides.

THREE TALKING POINTS AHEAD OF GAME WEEK 9.

Kane? Jesus? Aguero? Tammy Abraham?

THREE TALKING POINTS AHEAD OF GAME WEEK 9
Game week 8 was a mixed bag for fantasy managers, ranging from the most transferred in and most captained player (Kane) getting a mere 2 points to the most owned player (Lukaku) also getting a mere 2 points.
So ahead of game week 9, what are the major talking points that managers are grappling with as they look to make their transfers ahead of game week 9 deadline on 20th October 1900 UK time?

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE CAPTAIN PICKS FOR GAME WEEK 8

Whom to pick as your fpl Captain for game week 8

FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE CAPTAIN PICKS FOR GAME WEEK 8

Game week 8 Captain picks
Game week 8 Captain picks.

Thank God the International break is over. We have had 2 weeks devoid of premier league action, which is literally like a whole year for a fantasy manager.

The internationals injury curse has robbed managers of some potential captain picks but lose no sleep, I got your back with this article.

My last article on game week 7 captain picks had mixed success thanks to a mixture of reasons. Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane rewarded us but Salah, Lacazette and Firmino ensured our predictions were not entirely successful.
We are hoping for a better week and better luck with our predictions this week, here are our front runners for the arm band.

Our list lacks defenders because of the obvious risk involved by defenders giving a good return on any faith put on them, seems like only Midfielders and Forwards make best candidates.

Romelu Lukaku a must-have striker in Premier League fantasy sides.

Romelu Lukaku is very necessary for every fpl manager

Romelu Lukaku a must-have striker in Premier League fantasy sides

Romelu Lukaku had a mammoth price tag to live up to when arriving at Manchester United this past summer, having left former club Everton for an incredible £75 million.
However, that hasn’t affected the Belgium international striker at all, as he continues to fire in goal after goal for his new employers Man United in the Premier League and other competitions.
