HOW GOOD IS GAME WEEK 15 DREAMTEAM

HOW GOOD IS GAME WEEK 15 DREAMTEAM?

DREAM TEAM
DREAM TEAM

                                  GOAL KEEPER.

JULIAN SPERONI (4.0) CRYSTAL PALACE.
It’s a debut for the eagles stopper in the dreamteam. Crystal palace continue

with the relegation battle, and it seems they are winning it. Especially since the former three lions coach Roy Hodgson took over the managerial post.Palace now seat 18th in the premier league table, only 3 points from the  safety zone.

A superb performance from Julian Speroni with 7 saves(2 points), a clean sheet( 4 points), 90 minutes played(2 points) and bagged all the 3 bonus points, seems to be the catalyst to Palace’s revival.

Recommendation.

Those who want to sign him should think twice before making the move because he has only started 6 games this season and missed 9 games. If his starting game is secure you can have him but until that time just add him to you WATCH LIST.

                                   DEFENDERS.

NICHOLAS OTAMENDI (5.8) MANCHESTER CITY.

The Argentina international is one of Manchester city players who have inspired his side to the top of the premier league table . Manchester city currently sit at the top of the table, 8 points ahead of their closest competitor (Manchester united).
Once again the former Valencia star scored yet another crucial goal for the league leaders which saw them maintain their point difference with their neighbors . Scored a goal(6 points), played for 90 minutes( 2 points) and got awarded all the 3 bonus points.

Recommendation.

Otamendi is one of the best Manchester City fpl assets this season. A 5.8 for man city defender is not that bad, taking into consideration that they have bagged 7 clean sheets out of 15 and for sure ,there are more to come. If you want to sign him please do so after game week 18 because in the next 3 fixtures they have to travel to Old Trafford in Game week 16 then welcome Spurs at the Etihad in game week 18.

VICTOR MOSES (6.4) CHELSEA.

Chelsea continued with their mission of defending their English premier league tittle when they hosted Newcastle at the Stamford bridge on Saturday. The blues played well as they turned a 1-0 deficit to a 3 1 win.

Victor Moses started for the first time since game week 6 and the Nigerian marked his return to action with a bang. He provided 2 assists (6 points), got 1 bonus point and played for 90 minutes(2 points)

Recommendation.
Moses is a bit expensive for the budget mindful  managers who save their pounds for midfielders and forwards, but for those who have some extra cash you can bring him since his fixtures are irresistible. Also consider Conte’s rotation, Zappacosta is also there, competing for the same position. FAIRLY RECOMMENDED.

CHRISTIAN KABASELE (4.5) WATFORD.

Another debutant in the dreamteam this week. It was Christians’ day at the vicarage road when Marcos Silva’s boys played host to the stuttering spurs. Watford held Tottenham to a one all draw. Watford seems rejuvenated this season thanks to the new manager(Marcos Silva) who left the relegated side Hull city for them.
A goal by Kabasele ( 6 points), 1 bonus point and 63 minutes in action(2 points) saw him join the dream team for the first time this season.

Recommendation.
I encourage managers to sign Kabasele because he is assured of starting time, he is very cheap and he has a run of easy fixtures ahead of them. He can be your rotation defender, or you could alternatively get his team mate Zeegelar. RECOMMENDED.

MIDFIELDERS.

PHILIPPE COUTINHO (8.8) LIVERPOOL.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK.

Liverpool’s attack has proven to be one of the sharpest in the league in the past couple of seasons. The Brazilian, who happened to be one of Liverpool’s attacking trio at the Amex stadium managed to pull a PLAYER OF THE WEEK performance as the reds thrashed Chris Hughton’s boys five of goals.
The Brazilian rewarded his fpl owners handsomely with his magnificent performance. He scored 1 goal ( 5 points), provided 2 assists( 6 points), played 90 minutes(2 points) and got rewarded with 2 bonus points for his magnificent performance.

Coutinho should be part of your squad. Sacrificing someone for Coutinho will pay off since the reds have beautiful fixtures coming up. BUY.

JESSE LINGARD (5.8) MANCHESTER UNITED.

The Manchester United  academy product continue his fine run with 2 goals scored (10 points), 75 mins played (2 points) and got 3 bonus points as a reward. He put Arsenal to the sword with his fine runs and energy throughout the 75 minutes and is doing a terrific job in the number 10 role in the absence of out of form Mkhitaryan.

Lingard makes it to the dreamteam for the second consecutive week this season having made his debut last week thanks to a goal, assist and 2 bonus points. His next game is against Manchester City and he will definitely continue starting ahead of Mkhitaryan as long as he executes his manager’s instructions as effectively as he has been doing recently.

Recommendation.

Lingard has now started the last 2 games for Mourinho’s side, having started only one other game the entire season in week 9. He has 3 goals and 3 assists from those minimal starts, he will start the next match against Manchester City and I would not recommend you getting him ahead of that game. The following fixtures after Manchester City are plum and if Lingard gets a starting role in them then he can be a good budget midfielder. WAIT.

EDEN HAZARD (10.8) CHELSEA.

Hazard is potentially the best player in the league on his day. Against Newcastle he scored 2 goals, played 77 minutes (2 points) and was rewarded with 3 bonus points as a result. He instigated the come-back against Newcastle who had taken a shock lead early in the game through Dwight Gayle.

Hazard already boasts 5 goals and 3 assists in 8 starts since coming back from injury. He is in the dreamteam for a third time this season and is becoming a regular face in the dreamteam. He spoke of his new role in this Chelsea side after Diego Costa left and revealed how he is enjoying his role in behind Morata and sometimes playing with him up front. He is present in only 11.7% of teams and is a good alternative to Morata if you need a Chelsea coverage but do not fancy the former Madrid hitman.

Recommendation.

In my analysis of his performance and subsequently being the player of the week in game week 12, I talked of Hazard being highly recommended. Looking at how unreliable the premium strikers are proving to be, with the likes of Lukaku, Aguero, Kane, Jesus all becoming a frustration, Hazard is looking like a must have to plug the lack of consistent front men. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

RYAN FRASER (5.1) BOURNEMOUTH.

The Bournemouth youngster is quite a talented playmaker, the only problem being how Bournemouth have an embarrassment of riches in their attacking positions. He makes his debut this season in the dreamteam thanks to his goal (5 points), 90 minutes played (2 points) and collecting all the 3 bonus points.

Bournemouth have an embarrassment of riches in the attacking roles it is even becoming a danger owning any of them, if Fraser was a starter I’d own him.

Recommendation.

Do not even bother buying this one.

GYLFI SIGURDSSON (8.0) EVERTON.

The Iceland international has taken quite a while to settle and get into the dangerous player we all know he can be. He is now looking like the influential player who solely ensured Swansea survived relegation last season. Against Everton, he scored 1 goal (5 points), played 90 minutes (2 points), kept a clean sheet (1 point) and got 1 bonus points.

Gylfi had played 11 league games without either a goal or an assist, but he has contributed either a goal or an assist in the last 4 games. Sigurdsson is starting to put in the performance that his hefty price tag demands and is slowly creeping back into our fpl radars.

TEAMS SELECTED BY: 2.3 %.

Recommendation.

Everton have a mixed up run of fixtures and have a new manager in Big Sam. Any new move for an Everton player demands caution and patience since you never know how they will adapt to the new manager’s tactics. Granted Siggy can be an fpl gold, but just hold your horses and put him up your WATCHLIST.

FORWARDS.

ROBERTO FIRMINO (8.4) LIVERPOOL.

Roberto firmino has been a very big source of frustration for his owners this season, playing as a striker for a high scoring Liverpool side but still failing to get in on the party when his team rack up the goals. However, as Liverpool put 5 past Brighton, Firmino scored 2 goals (8 points), played 87 minutes (2 points) and collected all the 3 bonus points.

Firmino has 5 goals and 3 assists, a respectable output for a striker of his pricing, but he has failed to either score or assist in 10 games he has played in. This sort of inconsistency is crazy considering his team has scored a league 3rd best 33 goals.

SCORED 13 POINTS.

NEXT 5 FIXTURES DIFFICULTY: 2 2 2 4 2.

TEAMS SELECTED BY: 17.8 %.

Recommendation.

Firmino is priced nicely at £8.4 but he only ranks 8th among strikers for points per match (ppm) and ranks 6th among strikers for value for the season, trailing cheaper alternatives like Calvert-Lewin, Diouf, Abraham, Rooney and similar priced Vardy. If you must own a Liverpool payer, let it be Mane, Salah or Coutinho since they offer more value for money. NOT THE BEST VALUE FOT YOUR MONEY.

DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN (5.2) EVERTON.

Calvert-Lewin has been quite the bargain seemed to have won the trust of his managers having started 10 of the last 15 league games for Everton. He has paid that faith with a return of 2 goals and 5 assists. Against Huddersfield, he scored 1 goal (4 points), created an assist (3 points), played 90 minutes (2 points) and scooped all the 3 bonus points, a testament of his influence for Everton. WATCHLIST.

Lewin is playing good for Everton and if he secures a starting role as striker for the rest of the season, will be a bargain for a third striker with as good a chance to score as any other striker.

Recommendation.

As with Siggy, let us wait and see how Big Sam will set up his teams before any move, also bear in mind Niasse has been in impressive form for the blues.
